Privacy Policy for Turns
This policy explains how information is handled when you use Turns, a single-player puzzle game developed by MindOops Studio. The game integrates YSO Corp Game Utils and third-party advertising and measurement services.
1. Information You Provide
Normal gameplay does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, payment details, or precise GPS location. There is no player account, chat, or social login. If you email us for support, we receive your email address, message, and any information you choose to include.
2. Local Game Data
The game stores progress, level status, hint balances, daily hint information, language, sound, vibration, notification preferences, and other settings on your device. SDKs may also store installation identifiers and privacy choices locally.
Clearing Android app storage removes local game data. Uninstalling normally removes it too, although device backup or restore features may retain or restore some information. These actions do not automatically delete information already transmitted to service providers.
3. Automatically Processed Information
The game and its integrated SDKs may process:
- App installation and session identifiers, device identifiers, and the Android advertising ID where available and permitted by device settings and applicable consent choices.
- IP address and approximate location inferred from it, such as country or region. This is different from precise GPS location.
- Device model, operating system, hardware information, language, app and SDK versions, and network or technical information.
- App launches, session duration, level starts, level completion or failure, progression, and other gameplay events.
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks, completed rewarded ads, reward events, ad revenue, and campaign attribution information.
- Privacy choices and technical, diagnostic, or error information associated with operating the game and SDKs.
Some identifiers can distinguish a device or installation even though the game does not ask for your name. Having no player account does not mean that no personal data is processed.
4. Why Information Is Used
Information is used to remember progress and preferences, deliver hints and rewards, understand gameplay and retention, improve reliability, measure advertising campaigns and installs, serve and measure ads, prevent fraud, provide support, and meet applicable obligations. Advertising providers may use permitted identifiers and activity to personalize advertising under their policies and your available choices.
5. Rewarded Ads and Purchases
You can choose to watch a rewarded ad to receive hints. Rewards depend on the ad SDK confirming the qualifying completion. Ad availability varies. The current update does not enable banner ads, automatic interstitial ads, or in-app purchases.
Choosing to watch an ad is separate from consenting to personalized advertising. Ad measurement, attribution, and SDK initialization may occur independently of watching a rewarded ad.
6. SDKs, Providers, and Sharing
Information may be transmitted to providers through the SDKs integrated in Turns. Providers may process it on our behalf or for purposes described in their own policies. The integration includes:
- YSO Corp / Game Utils: gameplay analytics, publishing measurement, and advertising integration.
- AppLovin MAX and participating ad networks: ad mediation, delivery, rewards, measurement, and fraud prevention. Networks involved may vary by region and ad availability. Follow this link for more information about AppLovin's collection and use of your information.
- Tenjin: install attribution and campaign measurement.
- Meta / Facebook SDK: app activation and advertising campaign measurement. Facebook login is not required.
- Google Play and Android and Unity: distribution, engine or platform operation, and related services where used.
Providers' policies describe their processing, recipients, retention, and privacy rights. We may also disclose information when required by law or needed to protect rights, security, or prevent fraud. Advertising-related disclosures may fall within legal definitions of sharing, sale, or targeted advertising in some jurisdictions; this policy does not promise that no advertising-related sharing occurs.
7. Privacy Choices and Startup Notices
The integrated SDK is configured to display its terms and privacy/consent flow where applicable. Whether a notice appears depends on the platform, region, SDK behavior, and previously recorded choices. A startup notice is not necessarily shown on every launch.
- Open Settings > Privacy Policy to read MindOops Studio's policy.
- Open Settings > YSO Data Privacy > Data Privacy for the publisher's privacy controls. Where supported, this opens the consent-management interface; elsewhere it opens YSO's policy.
- Use Android's advertising privacy settings to manage available advertising-ID and personalization controls. Options vary by device and Android version.
- You can decline to watch rewarded ads. This does not disable all analytics or SDK processing.
Where consent is the basis for processing, you may withdraw it through available privacy controls or contact the relevant provider. Withdrawal does not undo earlier processing. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a copy of, restrict, or object to processing, and to opt out of targeted advertising or qualifying sale/sharing. Contact us or the provider responsible for the information to make a request; you may also contact your local data-protection authority.
8. Permissions and Notifications
Internet/network access supports SDK communication, analytics, advertising, and external links. Advertising-ID access supports advertising and attribution where permitted. Vibration supports optional haptics. Notification permission supports optional game reminders on supported Android versions.
Notifications can be managed in the game and Android settings. The game does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or precise device location for normal gameplay.
9. Retention, Deletion, and Transfers
Local saves remain until removed as described above. Support correspondence is retained as needed to address your request, maintain relevant records, or meet applicable obligations. SDK and advertising data have provider-specific retention periods; there is no single retention period for all providers.
For deletion of remotely stored data, contact us and/or use the relevant provider's privacy-request process. We may need enough information to locate the relevant records and verify a request. Do not send passwords or sensitive identity documents unless a verified process specifically requires them.
Service providers may process information outside your country. Their privacy policies explain applicable transfer arrangements and protections.
10. Children's Privacy
The game does not ask children to submit personal details during gameplay. However, integrated advertising and analytics SDKs can process identifiers and activity information. If you believe information about a child has been collected inappropriately, contact us so we can investigate and coordinate with the relevant provider.
11. Security and External Links
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled in operating and supporting Turns, but no transmission or storage method is completely secure. Ads and policy links may open third-party websites or apps governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
12. Policy Updates
We may revise this policy as features or providers change. The updated policy will show a revised date, with additional notice or choices where required. This policy describes the update identified above; older builds may behave differently.
13. Contact
For questions or privacy requests, contact MindOops Studio at mindsoops@gmail.com. Mention Turns and the nature of your request. For YSO SDK processing, you can also use the contact and rights information in YSO Corp's privacy policy.
